I met 2 former cast members of THE BILL last night. Peter Ellis, Chief Supt. Brownlow & Carolyn Pickles, D.C.I. Kim Reid. They were appearing in Pride and Prejudice at the Theatre Royal in Newcastle. Wink

Peter has aged loads !

As for who they were playing, pass. I didn't see the play. I just waited for the autographs afterwards.

I got to meet him and Seeta Indrani when they were in Perth a few years back playing in the "Mikado".

I got to have quite a chat, because "Burnside" had been at the ABC store a few days previously, and the line was out the door to get to meet Christopher Ellison.

Fortunately, this visit by two other Bill stars was not publicised, and I was lucky enough to walk past the store at lunch time.

Peter Ellis was a real gentleman, and poor Seeta was being hounded by a gentleman who was having trouble realising that she wasn't really Norika Datta.

Unfortunately, at the time, I was so embarrased that I couldn't remember her real name, I didn't ask her a question I'd been wanting answered for ages.

Did she have any input into her character and the response to Phil Young's advances? I just found it out of character, that normally she could hold her own and was very strong, but with Phil Young she was weak as water.
